About us

Our club is located 15 minutes outside Limerick city. It was established in 1998 under the name Limerick Yeoman, we changed our name to Limerick Field Archery Club in 2017. We are a non-profit voluntary club that promotes all types of archery. We are affiliated to I.F.A.F, S.I.F.A & I.F.F.A.

Field Archery is an outdoor pursuit that is typically done in forest settings in Ireland. We have two main range types Bowhunter {3D targets} Field {Paper faces} set at a variety of distances to challenge members.
Bowhunter ranges from 10 to 60 yards
Field range from 10 to 80 yards
We are a multi-discipline archery club, with archers at all levels, from beginners to international Archers. We are open to all from 8 years old and up. We cater to recurve, compound and traditional style bows
(crossbows are not permitted under Irish law).

To join our club, you must complete our beginner’s course or a similar course with another club affiliated to either I.F.A.F, S.I.F.A. Or equivalent to IFAA.
